Math Colloquia Oct. 7
Francis Edward Su will speak on “Minimal Triangulations of Cubes”
at the Department of Mathematics Colloquia Series, Tuesday, Oct. 7,
at 4 p.m. in Agriculture Mechanics, room 102.
Su earned his B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at
Austin and his Ph.D. from Harvard. He is an associate professor of
mathematics at Harvey Mudd College and is currently on sabbatical at
the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (UC Berkeley), where he
is doing research on combinatorial fixed-point theorems and connections
to economics.
