Bowerman is Interim Dean of Craig School

Dr. Karen Dill Bowerman, a faculty member and administrator at Fresno State for more than 20 years, has been named Interim Dean of the Craig School of Business for the 2003-2004 academic year.

She replaces Dr. Fred Evans, who accepted at position at California State University, Northridge.

Bowerman has served as Associate Dean of the Craig School since 1998 and has been a faculty member in the Department of Management since 1979.

In addition to her extensive service to the Craig School, Dr. Bowerman has been a member of the California Awards for Performance Excellence Board of Governors, has published several instructors' guidebooks and video cases for human resource management textbooks, and has offered expert testimony in the areas of human resources and management for cases pertaining to compensation, wrongful discharge, corporate reorganization and downsizing, discrimination and harassment in the workplace.

Dr. Bowerman earned her doctorate in administration from the Texas A & M and has earned national lifetime accreditation as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
