Honora Chapman
(Classics,
Humanities) delivered a talk in August
on Paul, Josephus and the Judean Imperialist Policy of Forced Circumcision
to the Pacific Coast Branch of the American Historical Association annual
meeting.
In September, she chaired a panel while delivering a talk entitled "By
the Waters of Babylon": Josephus and Poetry from Jerusalem to Rome” at
the International Colloquium on Josephus held at the Pontifical Biblical
Institute in Rome. She was the only speaker from the United States.
