Diane Blair (Communication) has been asked to serve on the National Task Force on The Presidency and Democratic Deliberation. more Benjamin Boone and Gary Gilroy (Music) are recipients of awards from the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers. The ASCAP awards are granted by an independent panel and based upon the unique prestige value of each writer’s catalog of original compositions, as well as recent performances. Isabel Kaprielian (History) presented a paper in Galway, Ireland, in June at the Fifth Biennial Conference of the International Association of Genocide Scholars. Her paper was entitled "Children and Genocide: Armenian Orphans in Canada." |
