Musica Viva on Nov. 5

The second concert of the inaugural season of "Musica Viva" will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. in Wahlberg Recital Hall.

"Musica Viva" is a new string chamber music series that features composers as diverse as Haydn and Messiaen. This concert features piano trios by Amy Beach, Claude Debussy and Anton Arensky.

The artists are violinist Susan Doering; violoncello Dieter Wulfhorst; and pianists Natasha Kislenko and Stephen Thomas. The concert is preceded by a lecture, starting at 7 p.m.

The remaining concerts of the series will be on Jan. 23 and March 26.
