The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concert will present pianist Maria Stembolskaia , winner of the 2003   "Ferruccio Busoni " International Piano Competition, on Friday, Nov. 21, at 8 p.m. in the Music Building Concert Hall.

A young Russian artist, Stembolskaia recently was named the winner of the prestigious Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano, Italy . She has performed in numerous venues throughout Europe and is praised for her "natural authority, sense of color, and spirit that should open her doors for a career." (Le Monde de la Musique ).

She will perform works by Prokofiev, Liadov, Scriabin, Liszt and Ravel.

Tickets are $12.50 general admission, $7 seniors and $5 students. For reservations and other information, call 8-2337.
