'Two Rooms' opens Nov. 14

The Fresno State student production company, The Experimental Theatre Company, will present Lee Blessing's "Two Rooms," an examination of the personal cost of political strife.

Tony Award nominated playwright Blessing's poignant drama probes American foreign policy in the middle east of the 1980s.   An American college professor (Blake Ellis) has been taken hostage in Beirut.   While he languishes in captivity, his wife (Melissa Riordan) searches for help from both the state department and the press.   She finds help but then she finds hidden agendas.

The Experimental Theatre Company's production of "Two Rooms" is a historical snapshot of conflicts that still grip the Middle East today.

Performances will be Nov. 14 at 4 p.m., Nov. 15 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Nov. 16 at 2 p.m..   All performances are in the Lab School Theatre.   Tickets are $4.

For more information, call the Theatre Box Office at 8-2216.
