Campus movers

The Campus Movers’ schedule allows them to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, this semester. Their primary responsibility is to move equipment from offices and departments to surplus.

Any items that need to be surveyed off need to have the proper paperwork accompany the equipment. Otherwise, the movers will not be able to pick up and deliver the equipment.

If you have a rush moving job or a moving job that is date critical and the date is not a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, you must contact Margie Phillips in Procurement to make arrangements to have the necessary work completed.

John Hernandez, the primary contact for movers, can be contacted by faxing a Moving Request to 8-7605. He will schedule the move based upon the receipt of the proper paper work, and not by telephone or e-mail messages. If he determines that the students cannot handle the move, he will direct you to contact Margie Phillips in Procurement.
