Barlow Der Mugrdechian

(Armenian Studies) attended the First International Congress of Armenian Studies, held Sept. 15-20, in Yerevan, Armenia. Scholars and teachers of Armenian were invited from throughout the world. On Nov. 21-22, he will chair the annual membership meeting of the Society for Armenian Studies, to be held in Toronto. He also will present a paper, "Reform in Higher Education: The Case of the Faculty of Economics at Yerevan State University, Armenia" as part of a panel on "Education and Family in Post-Soviet Armenia."
