(Geography) was awarded The National Council for Geographic Education’s annual Distinguished Teaching Achievement Award at the annual meeting Oct. 8-11 in Salt Lake City. The NCGE was chartered in 1915 to promote geographic education at all levels of instruction. It has 3,200 members.
