A candlelight vigil and display of a portion of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt are among activities planned for the Dec. 1-3 observance of World AIDS Day 2003 at Fresno State. more KFSR adds ‘All Things Armenian’ “ All Things Armenian,” a weekly, one-hour radio program produced by KFSR and the Armenian Studies Program, is on the air every Saturday at noon on KFSR 90.7 FM. Bookstore holiday open house Dec. 5-6 The Kennel Bookstore’s Annual Holiday Open House will be held Dec 5 and 6. The bookstore will be open until 5 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free parking will be available on Saturday during store hours in Lot D only. Bargains include 25 percent off of all Fresno State clothing, gifts, general books and 50 percent off “Tent Specials.” Free gift boxes and refreshments will be provided along with prizes throughout the day. Extension Programs office relocates The Extension Programs Office (formerly Extended Education) has temporarily relocated from Education Building, Room 130 to Education Building, Room 140 (right next door). more Friendly Visitor Service fund raiser under way Friendly Visitor Service is selling See's Candies Gift Certificates as a fund-raising project. Friendly Visitor Service keeps a percentage of the sales price and uses the proceeds to keep rates affordable for its senior clients. more The Benefits Office reminds employees that the new health insurance rates for the 2004 contract year will reflected on your December 2003 pay warrant (issued Jan. 1, 2004). The new rates may be viewed online at the Human Resources web site under Benefits. |
