Friends of Madden Library

Stanford University art professor Matthew Kahn will appear at the Jan. 9 program sponsored by Friends of the Madden Library. His presentation, “Cyclops: The Camera is not a Butterfly Net,” uses photographic images to convey the excitement of visual phenomena. more

KFSR adds ‘All Things Armenian’

“ All Things Armenian,” a weekly, one-hour radio program produced by KFSR and the Armenian Studies Program, is on the air every Saturday at noon on KFSR 90.7 FM. The program, which debuted Nov. 1, also is available on the Internet, via the station’s Web site at KFSR 90.7 FM - Fresno. more

Bookstore holiday open house Dec. 5-6

The Kennel Bookstore’s Annual Holiday Open House will be held Dec 5 and 6. The bookstore will be open until 5 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free parking will be available on Saturday during store hours in Lot D only. Bargains include 25 percent off of all Fresno State clothing, gifts, general books and 50 percent off “Tent Specials.” Free gift boxes and refreshments will be provided along with prizes throughout the day. Friendly Visitor Service fund raiser under way

Friendly Visitor Service is selling See's Candies Gift Certificates as a fund-raising project. Friendly Visitor Service keeps a percentage of the sales price and uses the proceeds to keep rates affordable for its senior clients. more

Health insurance rates

The Benefits Office reminds employees that the new health insurance rates for the 2004 contract year will reflected on your December 2003 pay warrant (issued Jan. 1, 2004). The new rates may be viewed online at the Human Resources web site under Benefits.
