Friendly Visitor fund raiser

Friendly Visitor Service is selling See's Candies Gift Certificates as a fund-raising project. Friendly Visitor Service keeps a percentage of the sales price and uses the proceeds to keep rates affordable for its senior clients.

The gift certificates are $12.80 for one pound of candy. The certificates have no expiration date and come in an attractive foil envelope that will fit into a standard envelope. The employee discount on See's Candies is not available on the gift certificates, which are good at any See's Candies store.

Checks should be made payable to Friendly Visitor Service and sent to M/S KC 131 by Dec. 5. Gift certificates will be delivered to purchasers by Dec. 12.

Friendly Visitor Service has been providing affordable in-home services to seniors in the Fresno area since 1976. The service employs primarily university students who serve as care providers and are part of the Gerontology program of the College of Health and Human Services.
