Adam Neiman, piano

The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts presents pianist Adam Neiman at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 18 in the Concert Hall at Fresno State .

The California-born artist returns to the series 10 years after he gave a most memorable performance as a teenager with "drive and flash that easily won the enthusiasm of the standing-room-only crowd." (Fresno Bee critic Larry Warkentin).

Recipient of an Avery Fisher Career Grant and the Gilmore Young Artist Award, he now is well on his way to a major performing career displaying "sheer power balanced with a high sense of drama." (The New York Times).

Neiman will perform works by Schubert, Bartok and Chopin.

Tickets are $12.50 general, $7 seniors and $5 students. For ticket reservations and other information, call 8-2337.
