Lunafest raises $2,000
More than $2,000 was raised on Oct. 28 at Lunafest 2003 to benefit The Breast Cancer Fund and Fresno State's Women's Resource Center . Lunafest is a national festival of films by, for and about women. The festival, now in its third year, was presented at over 30 venues throughout the United States, from California to Florida to D.C. This was the first year the festival has come to Fresno. more

Cultural Heritage Institute formed
After many years of planning, the Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute (CVCHI) announced its formation as an ancillary unit of the university at a reception on Nov. 20, 2003, for its advisory and steering committee members and supporters. more
