Early deadlines for fall

The campus Enrollment Management Committee has set new, early deadlines for admission applications for the fall 2004 semester.

The application deadline for first-time freshmen and transfer students is Feb. 1, 2004 .

The application deadline for graduate/post-baccalaureate students is March 1, 2004 .

The new deadlines - the earliest ever at Fresno State - are part of the university's continuing efforts to meet enrollment targets established by the Chancellor's Office.

Fresno State implemented restrictions in the fall 2003 semester to manage enrollment growth, but still had a record 22,361 students, which exceeded the enrollment target by about 3 percent.

Please urge prospective students to pay close attention to deadlines and submit their applications as early as possible.
