Ephraim K. Smith
Ephraim K. Smith's (History) documentary film project "Power for the Parkinsons: The Film and the Family that Helped Electrify the American Farm," was the subject of a feature article in the November newsmagazine European Foundation Joris Ivens. Ivens, a Dutch filmmaker, was hired by the United State Film Service in 1939 to produce a film showing the advantages of bringing electrical power to American farms. Smith documents that effort in his film, which drew the attention of the Ivens Foundation.
