The Western Athletic Conference announced its all-academic honors for the 2003 fall sports and Fresno State finished among the league's top three for most student-athletes honored, as announced by the league office. more

A valiant effort by boosters and student-athletes -- in partnership with the university -- fell short last month of a goal to secure guaranteed funding for the Bulldogs soccer and swimming programs for now at Fresno State. more

Former Fresno State softball standout Amanda Scott of Clovis has officially joined the women's softball professional ranks as she has signed on to play for the New York/New Jersey Juggernaut of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league. more

Harris Construction wins bid
Fresno State Athletics Director Scott Johnson announced that Harris Construction of Fresno has been awarded the bid for building the Ricchiuti Family Academic, Strength, and Conditioning Center and the expansion of the athletics department's Duncan Building. more
