Keyboard Concert March 17

The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts will present pianist Bruno Leonardo Gelber playing works by Beethovern, Brahams and Schumann on Wednesday, March 17, at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall at Fresno State.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch wrote, "In an arena of copycat concert artists Gelber's is a singular voice."

Born in Argentina , his remarkable career has included collaborations with distinguished conductors such as Sergiu Celibidache, Sir Colin Davis, Charles Dutoit, Lorin Maazel, Kurt Masur and George Szell.

His performances and award-winning recordings reveal "immaculate articulation and control which place him in a class of his own" (The Washington Times).

Tickets are $12.50 general admission, $7 seniors and $5 students. For ticket reservations and other information, call 8-2337.
