Reichert exhibit

"Dust Works," an exhibit by Raphael X. Reichert (Art & Design) will be held March 2-28 in the Conley Gallery of the Phebe Conley Art Building.

The Exhibition Program within the Department of Art & Design will be holding a special reception on Wednesday, March 3, from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will be featured at Art Hop on March 4, from 4 to 8 p.m.

The one-man exhibit will be Reichert's last as a Fresno State professor, as he is retiring at the end of the spring term. This show will feature recent works that have not been displayed, as well as many of his most impressive works from his career to date. Working in his favored medium, this "mini retrospective" features the sculptural style for which Reichert is known. With a variety in scale from large to small, his works are charged with developed content that creates myriad interpretations one sees upon spending time with his pieces.
