Physical Therapy:
Janet Duttarer
(chair, Physical Therapy) was awarded the Lynn Phillipi Award for Senior Advocacy by American Physical Therapy Association-Section on Geriatrics at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting on Feb. 6, one of two national meetings of the APTA. 

Marilyn Miller (Physical Therapy and coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Sciences undergraduate major) was awarded the Joan Mills Award, the section founder's award.

Annie Burke-Doe (Physical Therapy) had a poster presentation at the conference for the Neurology Section.

Gina Strumwasser (Art and Design) wrote “Sister Angela Merici and Gendered Existence in Renaissance Italy" for the museum catalogue Masters in Context: Romanino's Mystic Marriage of Saint Catherine that was published in 2003. She was one of six Renaissance art historians who were asked to contribute an essay to the catalogue and to participate in a symposium at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art in September 2003. more

Don Blakeley (Philosophy) has published “The Art of Living: Pierre Hadot's Rejection of Plotinian Mysticism,” International Philosophical Quarterly,  43:4 (December, 2003), 407-422, and “The Mysticism of Plotinus and Deep Ecology,” Journal of Philosophical Research, Vol. 29 (2004), 1-28. more
