Buses promote Bulldogs

Two Fresno Area Express (FAX) buses recognizing Fresno State athletics are rolling along the city streets.

The Bulldog buses were showcased for the first time on Feb. 24 in a roll-out that included President Welty, Fresno Mayor Alan Autry and Athletics Director Scott Johnson.

The "alumni" bus is decorated with a collage of color photographs of former Bulldog student-athletes, including David Carr (football), Melvin Ely (basketball), Lindsay Logan (basketball), Tom Goodwin (baseball), Christina Bell (softball), Stephen Abas (wrestling), Java Johnson (volleyball) and Kim Niggenmeyer (soccer).

The other bus pictures Bulldog Stadium filled to capacity and awash in red.
