President Welty accepted the check on March 12 from Tom King, senior vice president and chief for Utility Operations for PG&E.

The check is for the PG&E Savings By Design energy efficiency new construction program. The rebate brings the total that Fresno State has received in rebates since 1990 to more than $821,000.
