Betty Garcia

(Social Work Education) co-presented a paper at the Winter Roundtable, Teachers College, Columbia University on Feb. 21, entitled "What Are My Looks? There Is More Than Meets The Eye: Phenotypes, Identity and Multicultural Education." She also was co-chair of the Council on Social Work Education Annual Program Meeting in Anaheim, Feb. 27-March 1. As part of the program she presented the book that she co-authored, "Diversity Education for Social Justice," at a Meet the Authors panel and chaired several presentations.
