Harris wins Provost's Teaching Award

Susan B. Harris, the co-director of the TALENT (Teaching and Leading for Educational Needs with Technology) program and a professor in the Curriculum and Instruction Department of the Kremen School of Education and Human Development, has been awarded the top teaching award at Fresno State. President announces 2004-05 budget cuts

President Welty announced staff and program cutbacks on April 22 that Fresno State will implement to meet an expected $11 million budget reduction in the next fiscal year. more

Comprehensive Campaign update

The preliminary planning for the university's first-ever major fund raising campaign is currently under way, and the most crucial element, the academic goal setting process, is nearing completion. President Welty and Provost Echeverria will issue the third “white paper” to update to the university community on the Comprehensive Campaign in the next few weeks. more

Oliaro commended for CSU leadership

Dr. Paul Oliaro, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, received the systemwide Leadership Excellence Award at the CSU’s Third Annual Alcohol Education Conference, April 22 and 23 at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Beach. more
