On occasion there are those experiences that have a lasting impact on life.  Visiting a foreign country is such an opportunity.  From Cape Town to Johannesburg , from ancient history to contemporary challenges, from apartheid to President Mandela, 10 Fresno State students and two faculty members experienced the complexity of South Africa during the summer of 2003. more

Snowfest 2004
Brad Barker (Campus Information Systems), his wife Jamie and sons Kyle Barker and Nathan Musson enjoy the perfect weather and snow at Snowfest 2004.  More than 170 people from the university family, the largest Snowfest group ever, enjoyed the day skiing, making a snowperson for a contest or just relaxing.

University High School
University High School's Destination Imagination Team will represent California at the Global Finals.
The DI Team of John Dawson, Chip Gross, Lizzie Jordan and Taylor Stephenson defeated the 12 other best California high school teams Saturday, April 17, and will compete in the Global Finals against teams from the US and several foreign countries in late May. This international event is hosted by the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. more
