CAMP Events

College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is hosting two events to which the campus community is invited.

The Annual CAMP Freshman Student Recognition Banquet will be held May 8 starting at 6 p.m. at Love and Garlic on Dianne Street off of Bartow near Blackstone. The banquet is in honor of 86 first-generation migrant freshman students who successfully completed their first academic year at Fresno State . Students, parents, faculty and staff are invited. Tickets are $15 each. Contact CAMP office for more information at 8-4768.

CAMP and University Migrant Services (UMS) will host their annual Migrant Students Graduation Luncheon from noon to 2 p.m. at the lawn area located between the Agriculture Building and the Satellite Student Union on Saturday, May 22, immediately following the university Commencement ceremony. Graduating migrant students, parents, faculty and staff are invited. For more information contact the CAMP office at 8-4768 or UMS office at 8-5750.
