'Celebration of Wine' June 6

'Celebration of Wine' June 6

"A Celebration of Wine" -- Central California's largest and most prestigious wine event of its kind -- will be held Sunday, June 6, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Dennes Coombs' Riverbend Ranch in Madera.

The alumni event features wine tasting from more than 100 prestigious wineries, including the award-winning Fresno State Winery, and food sampling from more than 40 Central California restaurants.

In addition, there will be a post-event coffee-tasting, desserts and live jazz from 5:30 to dusk.
The cost is $65 per ticket, which includes a souvenir wine glass, buffet plate and program. Ticket sales are limited, so early purchase is recommended to ensure availability.

"A Celebration of Wine" raises funds to support the Vincent E. Petrucci Library (librarian and collection), located in Fresno State?s Viticulture and Enology Research Center. The library is a collection of viticulture and enology resources and is available to the campus community and general public.

The event is sponsored by the Viticulture and Enology Alumni Association.
