Cheer and Dance teams

Changes for the cheer and dance teams for the 2004-05 seasons are planned, most significantly a transfer of administrative responsibilities for the program from the Division of Student Affairs to the Athletics Department.

"We want to re-focus the program on getting the fans involved in some great family entertainment, but also want the squad to feel more involved in our intercollegiate athletics programs," said Desiree Reed-Francois, associate Athletics director.

Teena Shields in Athletics is the interim Spirit Squad supervisor.
