Alum named Web manager

Enoch Gamoian, a Fresno State alumnus who was previously West Coast Web manager for Granite Broadcasting, was named campus Web manager in June.

Under the umbrella of the University Relations office, Gamoian is responsible for the university's main Web site, www.csufresno.edu , plus several ancillary Web sites. He will oversee site content and design, develop campuswide Web policies and procedures and assist in the adoption of new Web technologies.

Gamoian was Web manager with Granite, which includes KSEE-24, for five years. In 1999 and 2000, Granite won the Associated Press award for best television station Web site. He has previous Web, database and technical writing experience at Integrative Systems, Grundfos Pumps and Pelco.

He holds a bachelor's degree in English from Fresno State and has undertaken graduate studies in literature and education at Fresno State and Chapman College. A musician, he enjoys writing instrumental music and producing recordings in his project studio.
