Graduate Advising Workshops - Part I , II & III
All graduate coordinators/directors, graduate faculty and staff who work with graduate students are encouraged to attend these workshops. Three separate workshops will be presented by the Division of Graduate Studies staff who will update you on policies and procedures relative to admissions, classified standing and advancement to candidacy, and culminating experiences, etc. The workshops will be held on Sept. 8, 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the University Center, room 202, Sept. 16, 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the University Center, room 202, and also on Sept. 21, 12:00 noon -1:00 p.m. in the University Student Union, room 311. Part I workshop on Sept. 8 is for new, nearly new, or somewhat "rusty" coordinators; and new staff and graduate faculty. Part II on Sept. 16 is open to all graduate faculty and staff who work with graduate students. Part III on Sept. 21 will be an open Q & A session . There will be plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions at each workshop and receive up-to-date information. Light refreshments will be provided.
