Honora Chapman
(coordinator, Classics) will deliver the paper "Masada in the 1st and 21st Centuries" at an international conference on Josephus: Interpretation and History at Trinity College, Dublin this month. Of the 22 speakers, who are mostly Europeans and Israelis, she is the only female presenter. She also has been elected chair of the new Josephus Group formed for the Society of Biblical Literature. It is an offshoot of the seminar that she currently co-chairs for the SBL.
