‘Go Time’

"It's Go Time in the Valley!"

That will be the rallying cry for Bulldog fans as the advertising theme and campaign for all sports for the 2004-05 year.

The Fresno State Athletics Department, in conjunction with the Leffler Advertising Group, has for the first time selected an all-purpose theme that will be used for all sports. Posters, schedule cards, radio and television commercials, newspaper and magazine advertisements and billboards will carry this theme throughout the year.

Fresno State contracted with the Leffler Group after researching several advertising agencies that specialize in season ticket sales and group sales for professional and collegiate programs. The Leffler Group has run successful campaigns, namely for the University of Connecticut for football and men's and women's basketball and the Baltimore Ravens of the NFL.

"This was an important component to increase attendance for all Fresno State sports," said Athletics Director Scott Johnson. "We believe the Leffler Group brings a wealth of experience and a great tradition for running similar successful advertising campaigns. We expect that this campaign will increase awareness of our program, and ultimately increase revenue through season, group and single games ticket sales."
