Fulbright opportunities

The Fulbright Scholar Program is offering lecturing and research awards in about 140 countries for the 2005-2006 academic year.

Opportunities are available not only for college and university faculty and administrators, but also for professionals from business and government, as well as artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.

There are awards in 45 different disciplines and professional fields.  Traditional awards are available from two months to an academic year or longer. Short term grant programs and the Fulbright Senior Specialists Programs offer two to six week grants in various disciplines.

The deadline for the summer German Studies Seminar as well as for spring/summer seminars in Germany, Korea and Japan for academic and international administrators is Nov. 1.

For more information about Fulbright Summer Studies go to  www.cies.org.

Please keep the University International Program Office informed on your progress should you decide to apply for a Fulbright Program, or e-mail bertag@csufresno.edu.
