Redd-Williams named to postProvost Jeri Echeverria has announced that Janette Redd-Williams has accepted a two-year appointment as interim associate vice president for Academic Personnel, effective summer 2005. She will join the university as interim associate director of Academic Personnel in January 2005 and will assist Tom Ebert during spring term before his retirement takes effect. Redd-Williams earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Irvine in 1985 and her Juris Doctorate from the University of California at Davis in 1989. She joined the CSU Office of General Counsel in 1997. Prior to that she served as litigation counsel for Coldwell Banker Corporation and practiced law with Katten Muchin and Zavis in Southern California. For the past seven years, she has been assigned as legal counsel to our campus and has been an advocate for clear practices and equity. She is currently the Office of General Counsel's resource attorney on collective bargaining and PERB issues. |
