Stop the Hate Week

Stop the Hate Week – Building a Culture of Peace activities conclude with events on Friday, Oct. 1, and Saturday, Oct. 2.

A Peace assembly and Gandhi statue garlanding will be held Oct. 1 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Peace Garden. Attendees are urged to bring flowers. At 7 p.m., an International Cultural Festival will be held in the Satellite Student Union.

On Oct. 2, a group meditation and devotional singing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the Peace Garden.

Twenty Fresno State organizations co-sponsored the events with the campus’ Commission on Human Rights and Equity.
