“The Tomb Raiders,” a collaborative dance video choreographed by Fresno State students and compiled by faculty, was one of eight entries in the country selected to be featured at the Dance/Dance for the Camera II Festival.

“The Tomb Raiders” was chosen from 240 entries in a nationwide search. It was featured at two venues in Arizona during October. Both festivals sought to spotlight artists who use animation and video to present dance through the lens.

Choreography by student Brooks Seaberg and a video montage by Robin Seaberg were visually blended together by Kenneth Balint, assistant professor of Theatre Arts, into the completed work.

Fresno State students Grace Guanlao, Rose Marrero, Courtney Perry, Brooks Seaberg and Anaid Yanez were members of the cast.

“The Tomb Raiders” originally premiered at the University Dance Theatre concert  “E-Motion” last April at Fresno State.
