Fresno State will join schools and colleges across the nation in celebrating the fifth annual International Education Week from Nov. 15-19 with activities on campus including films and speakers from various backgrounds celebrating the benefits of international education. more

Bulldog Walkway dedicated
The Bulldog Walkway -- a new, permanent, on-campus tribute to Fresno State alumni, graduates and friends – was dedicated Oct. 27 on the north side of the Save Mart Center at Fresno State. The first three tiles honor Col. Rick Husband, Lt. Cmdr. Otis Vincent Tolbert and Todd Beamer. more

Pherson receives highest FFA award
California State University, Fresno professor Dr. Carl Pherson will receive the “Honorary American Degree,” the highest award a non-member can receive from the national FFA organization, at its national convention on Oct. 29 in Louisville, Ky. more

Save Mart Center supporter Mathias “Matty” Matoian was honored by Fresno State in October when a campus street was renamed and dedicated in his family‘s name -- “Matoian Way.” more
