Teams make appearances

Several teams have made public appearances this fall. The equestrian squad visited Children's Hospital in mid-September. Members spoke about helmet safety while patients had the opportunity to interact with two Fresno State horses.

The men's basketball team was busy in late September. Having read to the children at Fugman School on Sept. 29, two days later the team served lunch at the Poverello House. Early last month, they also helped Fulton Mall celebrate its 40th anniversary.

The softball squad appeared at the Big Fresno Fair last month. The student-athletes were part of the Fair Ed days as a small diamond was built, complete with grass and bleachers, for interaction.   In addition, the 'Dogs also sponsored "Interaction Night" at Bulldog Diamond on Oct. 14. As a thank you for opportunities and support, the softball team held a practice and gave those in attendance an opportunity to interact at the same time.
