Hall of Fame inductees

Three former Bulldogs along with the 1988 Fresno State baseball team were inducted into the 2004 Bulldog Baseball Hall of Fame on Oct. 21.

Jeff Weaver, who helped the Los Angeles Dodgers to a National League Western Division title this past season, along with Jason Wood, a member of the 1991 College World Series team that finished fifth, and Don George, who led the 'Dogs offense in 1951 and '52, were celebrated and recognized for their achievements on the diamond.

As the second team to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, the '88 Diamond 'Dogs also were honored after posting the third-longest winning streak in NCAA history to go along with a No. 1 national ranking while showcasing one of the most prolific offenses ever put together by a Fresno State baseball team.
