Fresno State’s football program continues to rank among the nation’s best at producing NFL players as 15 former Bulldogs are currently active on the professional ranks.

That figure leads the WAC for the second consecutive season and ranks No. 42 among the 247 colleges and universities that have alumni playing in the NFL. In addition, Fresno State’s total ranks second-best among non-BCS school and is tied or higher than several notable BCS programs such as Iowa, Oregon, Virginia, Arkansas, Clemson, North Carolina State, Oregon State, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Missouri and Kentucky. Leading the non-BCS schools is Southern Mississippi with 16 NFL players.
