Keyboard ConcertThe Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts will present pianist Arnaldo Cohen on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall. First Prize winner of the 1972 Busoni International Competition in Italy, Arnaldo Cohen has performed with such acclaimed conductors as Kurt Masur, Klaus Tennstedt, Kurt Sanderling and Yehudi Menuhin. Back on the series by popular demand, Brazil’s leading pianist “has everything that makes a great virtuoso” (Le Figaro, Paris) and “nothing to fear from any rival pianist today” (CD Review Magazine). He will perform works by Chopin, Liszt and Brazilian composers including Dutra, Braga, Oswald, Guarnieri and Mignone. Tickets are $12.50 general admission, $7 seniors and $5 students.
