Randolph (Randy) Lacy
(Music)
received the degree of Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from the University
of Houston ( Texas ) on Dec. 20. Lacy teaches voice and directs the
Opera Workshop at Fresno State . A tenor, he performed in December
with the Orpheus Chamber Ensemble in Britten's "Les Illuminations" and
Corigliano's "Poem in October." This spring he will perform the role
of the Evangelist in J. S. Bach's "Johannespassion" with the Houston
Bach Society and as tenor soloist in Mozart's "Requiem" with the Boulder
Philharmonic.
