New in Hall of Fame

Congratulations to alum Jim Santos (1962) who was inducted into the USTCA Hall of Fame last month. He has been hailed as one of American's most influential driving forces in track and field at the high school, collegiate and Olympic level for the last 30 years.

Named to the 1980 United State's Men's Olympic coaching staff, Santos went on to serve as the Men's Pan Am Games Coach in 1983 after serving as the national coach for the USA Men's Track and Field teams from 1979-84.

Santos , who has returned to the Central Valley, is the founder/director of the Navy Run Jump n'Throw, a sports fitness program for boys and girls conducted throughout the United States.
