Wallace Award Watch List

All-America sophomore infielder Christian Vitters has been named to the 2005 Wallace Award Watch List, which is given annually to the nation's top collegiate baseball player.

Vitters is coming off a successful 2004 campaign where he hit .318 with nine home runs and 42 RBI while starting every game for Fresno State. The Wallace Watch List will be narrowed to 12 semi-finalists in late May.
