Poet Marilyn Chin to visit campus
Marilyn Chin, one of the leading voices of contemporary Asian-American poetry, will give a public reading on Thursday, Feb. 24, at Fresno State. Chin will speak at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice Peters Auditorium in the Peters Business building. more

Faculty art exhibit
The Department of Art and Design is sponsoring an Exhibition of Faculty Artwork and Designs on display in the Phoebe Conley Art Gallery until Feb. 14. more

Lorenz Keyboard Concert
The Philip Lorenz Memorial Keyboard Concerts will present pianist Andreas Haefliger playing works by Beethoven, Bartok and Brahams on Friday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. in the Concert Hall at Fresno State. more

Tour to England
Larry Sutherland, director of bands, will celebrate his retirement with a 2006 tour to England with the Wind Ensemble and Friends, a special band of former and new players from his 35 years at Fresno State. more

Summer Arts renews contract through 2010
Fresno State was selected to continue serving as host campus through 2010 for the acclaimed CSU Summer Arts, the CSU Chancellor’s Office announced. more
