Diversity conference planned

The Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute’s first regional diversity conference is scheduled Oct. 8-11, 2005. The planning committee is inviting campus and community members to join them in ongoing planning for this event.

The conference will include a three-day seminar where individuals will be trained to conduct a one-day diversity workshop. It will also include one or two full- day diversity workshops and a final day where participants can choose from a wide range of hour-long seminars, workshops and presentations. Nationally recognized speakers and performers will also be a part of this event.

Faculty, students, staff and community members are interested in being a part of planning or participating in this historic event may contact Francine Oputa at 8-6946.
