Two “Welcoming Diversity Workshops” are scheduled this spring. The first is Friday, Feb. 25, in the University Business Center. The second workshop is scheduled Saturday, April 2, in the Renaissance Room. Both workshops are scheduled from 8:30 a.m.   to 4 p.m.

The workshops are open to the campus and to community members. They are free of charge to Fresno State students, faculty, staff and administrators. Community members are charged $75 to attend this one-day prejudice reduction workshop.

To date, the Campus National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) Team, has conducted workshops for more than 1,000 campus and community members. Participants’ feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

NCBI is a project of the President’s Commission on Human Relations and Equity and is coordinated through the Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute. For more information and to reserve a spot at one of the workshops call 8-6946.
