FIPSE grants cancelled

The Chronicle of Higher Education recently reported that the U. S. Department of Education has cancelled its 2004 Funds to Improve Postsecondary Education (FIPSE) grant competition. Fresno State has received numerous FIPSE awards in the past, because faculty and staff had submitted seven proposals totaling over $1.5 million.
