Preview Day 2005

The Office of University Outreach Services is eager to more effectively assist with the management of new student enrollment and, consequently, is sponsoring Preview Day 2005. This activity is a follow-up to our fall Open House event and is designed to assist prospective students who are also considering alternative college choices. This is our opportunity to share what we have to offer and why Fresno State should be the campus of their choice.

Preview Day 2005 is designed to give prospective high school and community college transfer students a closer look at our faculty and facilities. By participating with this unique event, students will be able to interact with faculty who will teach courses within their majors.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 12, starting with a general session in the North Gym and followed by academic workshops within individual majors.  These academic workshops are offered by faculty and resemble a classroom setting; similar to what one will experience as a student at Fresno State. This event is open to the public.

Academic workshops are scheduled at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Faculty assistance is sought in providing the workshops. Faculty who are interested in assisting with this year’s Preview Day event may contact Lupe Maldonado at 8-2048 or e-mail lupem@csufresno.edu.

The deadline to submit workshop information is Feb. 4.
