Concert Choir performs

Fresno State’s Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will kick off their annual Central California tour with a performance, “Love and Song in the Romantic Era,” on Sunday, March 13, at 3 p.m. in the Concert Hall.

Directed by Anna Hamre, the concert will highlight European music from the 19th century with a guest appearance by the Fresno Community Chorus. The program will include selections from the “Romanticero Gitano” by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, “Liebeslieder” by Brahms, “Festivel Te Deum” by Benjamin Britten and “Second Psalm” by Mendelssohn.

Tickets are $8 general, $7 seniors, and $6 students. For information, call 8-2654.
